We receive maintenance grant from Haryana State Government @ Rs. 2000 per child per month less 10 percent share of the Organization. As the monthly expenditure on the upkeep of Children is much higher, the shortfall is met through donations in cash and kind from public, spirited individuals, institutions, clubs and trusts.

All received grants and donations are used in a way to the best possible benefit of our children. Main portions of expenses alotted to the upkeep of the children include education, medicines, transportation and staff.

There are many ways you can support us. You can help by making a money donation, donations in kind, treating our children for meals, funding individual children with our Child-Support-Scheme, assisting senior children with employment opportunities, volunteering or just by telling a friend. Anything which you consider useful for the children! You can buy text books, stationary of various kinds like Pens, Pencils, Colors, Posters, and Charts.You can buy them daily use items , sports goods like Cricket kits, Volley balls, footballs, Badminton Rackets & shuttle cocks, Indoor games like carom, TT tables and kit. You may want to treat them with burgers and Pizzas and by taking them out. School bags, drawing books, uniforms, track suits, slippers and sport shoes are always in demand.

Yes, there is. Donations to Bal Niketan are exempt from Income Tax under Section 80 (G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961.

You may want to spend some time with our children tutoring Maths, Science or may be English. You can spare some time and teach them Dancing, singing, Arts, Crafts or may be Yoga. You may want to tell stories to small children. You can teach a game and play with them too. You can send us an email on (contact@balniketan.org) expressing your desire and area of expertise. We will take it further from there.
