Pritam Chand Sharma came to Bal Niketan at an early age of 11 years in 1989 through a pious lady late Smt Narmada Sharma who worked in Bal Niketan as a House Mother. He had lost his mother at the tender age of 6 years. He has a younger sister. Pritam hails from a remote village named Delag, Panchyat Kuddi (Backward Panchyat declared by Himachal Govt.) District Chamba in Himachal Pardesh. From the very beginning, Pritam has been a very sincere, hardworking, studious and responsible person.
